Licensing
Look and Learn Training distributes the computer-based video tutorial course "Discover Web Site Design - in a day!" on a single-user license basis. You are not permitted to make copies for other people to use, including family, friends or work colleagues. However, you are permitted to copy the course onto a second computer for your own convenience, provided only one copy of the course is used at any one time.
Multiple licensing is required if you need to have several installations of our courseware, for example on a network or intranet. Please contact us for prices, stating how many licenses you would like.

CD-ROM Version
The CD-ROM version of the course is designed to run from disk. However, you are permitted to copy the files from the disk to you computer's hard drive for convenience, provided the licensing restrictions above are adhered to. When copying the files, make sure that the folder structure is copied in the same format as on the CD-ROM. Otherwise, the links on the "start.htm" page will not work properly.
To view the course, either from the CD-ROM or on your computer, open the file "start.htm" in a web browser. A link to the project web site can be found on the "start.htm" page. You will find the project files in the folder "rspca-project-files".
Download Version
If you purchase the download version of this course, you will be presented with the PayLoadz® download screen after your payment has been confirmed (see screenshot A below). This page contains five zipped files to make downloading easier and more reliable.
The filenames and sizes are: DWSD-01 (7Mb), DWSD-02 (105Mb), DWSD-03 (93.5Mb), DWSD-04 (84.5Mb) and DWSD-05 (90Mb) - a total of 380Mb.
To install and run the course, do the following:
1) Create a new folder on your computer's hard disk drive, for example "dwsd-course".
2) Download all five zipped files into this folder by following the PC or Mac instructions (see screenshots A, B and C below).
3) Extract all of the zipped files into your folder using the right-click command "Extract to here" or "Extract to..." and choosing your new folder (see screenshot D below). To extract these files you will need a file decompression utility, such as WinZip® or 7-Zip®.
4) The folder structure should resemble the structure in screenshot E below. To view the course, open the file "start.htm" in a web browser. A link to the project web site can be found on the "start.htm" page. You will find the project files in the folder "rspca-project-files".
Note: Occasionally, zipped files may become corrupted during downloading. If this happens and you are unable to extract the files, simply download the zipped file again.
