FAQs

Q. After downloading your courses or FREE tutorials, can I start using them straightaway?

A. Yes, that's the whole idea!

Q. I can't (or don't want to) download your video tutorials online. Can I get a CD-ROM version?

A. Yes, but only for paid courses. Simply click the appropriate button on our courses page.

Q. If I buy one of your courses, can my family, friends or work colleagues copy the course (the downloaded files or CD-ROM) and use it themselves?

A. No. Each course is sold on a single-user license basis only. You may, however, copy the course onto a second computer for your own convenience, provided only one copy is used at any one time.

Q. Do you offer discounts for multiple licenses?

A. Yes. Multiple licensing is required if you need to have several installations of our courseware, for example on a network or intranet. Please contact us for prices, stating how many licenses you would like.

Q. Can I add a link from my web site to yours?

Terms and disclaimer (including sales, ordering and use of video tutorials)

1. General

1.1 At "Look and Learn Training" we believe it is helpful, and in some cases necessary, to provide clear information in order to avoid confusion and promote a professional business relationship with anyone using this site. We aim to do this by publishing our Terms, Disclaimer and Privacy policy.

1.2 The sites "www.LookAndLearntraining.co.uk" and "www.LookAndLearntraining.com" are both administered by Nick Beech of "NBBS". Whenever the word "Terms" is used it refers to the information contained in our Terms, Disclaimer and Privacy policy. Throughout these Terms, whenever the words "we", "us" or "our" are used, they refer to the site administrator. Whenever the word "you" is used, it refers to anyone using this site.

1.3 By using this site (including FREE resources) you are agreeing to be bound by all of the statements in these Terms. If you do not agree with what you read in any of these notices, you should not use this site.

1.4 We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice and any changes will come into effect immediately. By continuing to use this site you are agreeing to accept any new or modified terms, so please refer to this page from time to time.

1.5 If any provision in these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue with full force and effect. These Terms shall be governed by law as if they were a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within England.

1.6 We intend to keep this site permanently available. However, this availability may be temporarily disrupted when we update information and when we carry out planned or emergency systems maintenance.

2. Disclaimer

2.1 Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or any other type of loss or injury resulting from your use of any content on this site or for the site being temporarily unavailable (for example when updating information or when carrying out systems maintenance). This includes, but is not limited to, loss or injury caused in whole or in part by our negligence or by contingencies beyond our control in creating or delivering any portion of this site.

2.2 Any advice, guidance or information offered on this site or within the training materials presented is merely the opinion of the course tutor and/or the site administrator. As such, we will not be held liable for any damages suffered by you or costs or financial losses you may incur (including, without limitation, legal fees), as a result of using this site or the training materials we produce.

2.3 We do our best to ensure the training materials cover the intended detail as shown in the course specification, but cannot and do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the information contained, or its usefulness for any particular purpose. All information provided is to be used on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind by us.

2.4 You use this web site at your own risk. If you visit any other web site by following a link on this web site, including contacting any people or organisations listed, we are not party to any warranties, guarantees, promises or other arrangements described in their link details or on their web sites which give rise to contractual obligations. These matters are solely between the people and organisations listed and any person contacting them as a result of finding their details on this site.

3. Use of Video Training Materials

3.1 To use the video tutorials on this site you will need a web browser with a Flash Player® plugin. You will also need a file decompression utility, such as WinZip® or 7-Zip®, for "zipped" files that are downloaded online.

3.2 All training materials on this site are protected by international copyright law. See Copyright for more information.

3.3 You are not permitted to redistribute any training resources obtained from this site, whether free or paid for, including newsgroups or file sharing networks. Instead, you should direct other users to our site by either notifying them of our URL or by adding a link to your own web site.

3.4 You may not use any text or graphics from this web site, other than to promote "Look and Learn Training".

3.5 You are not permitted to modify materials obtained from this site in any way.

3.6 Any courses you pay for from this site are sold on a single-user license basis. You may not share any such courses with other people or organisations. You may, however, copy materials onto a second computer for your own convenience, provided only one copy is used at any one time.

3.7 If you wish to buy multi-user licenses, for example to make our courses available via a network or intranet, please contact us for discounted prices stating the number of potential end users.

3.8 In the event that you do not honour these Terms, we reserve the right to revoke your license without notice. In such circumstances, no refunds will be made for courses that have been paid for by you.

3.9 If you breach any of our Terms, including the terms of your license, we may instigate legal proceedings against you, including seeking compensation for damages and to recover lost revenue.

4. Sales and ordering

4.1 All orders must be submitted online. Transactions are processed using a secure PayPal® system. If you require any information that is not covered on this page before placing an order, please contact us with your enquiry. For information about PayPal® and its secure payment systems, please refer to PayPal's web site.

4.2 Orders for the electronic version of our courses are processed immediately, after which customers can download the video tutorials online. All orders for electronic downloads are final. In general, we are unable to provide refunds once the transaction has been processed as there is no way of demonstrating that the training materials have not been used. However, in exceptional cases we may consider a full or partial refund as a gesture of good faith and without prejudice, dependent on the circumstances and subject to administration charges that may have been levied to process your transaction.

4.3 CD-ROM versions of our courses are usually despatched on a first-class mail basis within 7 days of receiving the order. Actual delivery will be dependent on the carrier, but is normally within 3-5 working days of despatch. Returns are accepted up to 7 days following receipt of the courseware, but only if the CD-ROM seal has not been opened. Anyone returning courseware will be responsible for its safe return, including costs of delivery and insurance where appropriate. We regret we are unable to provide refunds for any courseware that appears to have been used (i.e. the seal has been broken).

4.4 We respect consumers' statutory rights governed by the laws of England.

7. Some of your suggestions, feedback and comments may be published on this site if we feel it will add value. If we do this, we will do so without disclosing the precise source. For example, we may list a suggestion under the name of "Lauren B. from Newcastle".

8. There are links on this site which may take you to other sites outside our control. We have no responsibility or liability for these sites, or for the privacy policies they adopt. For more information regarding particular sites and their policies, please refer to the respective sites themselves.
