REHOMING
This branch does not have an Animal Centre and is unable to accept unwanted animals from the public. Our role is to assist the RSPCA Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers who are dealing with abused and at-risk animals. These animals are cared for in private boarding establishments used by the branch. Sometimes cats are transferred to the RSPCA Stapeley Grange Cattery in Nantwich, which is run by the national Society. (More about adopting animals...)
Dogs available for rehoming from the branch
MOLLY
MOLLY, the cross-breed, has lived with other dogs. She is about 8 years old and has lived where there was a small child.
She is friendly and a quiet dog who would welcome regular exercise as she is slightly overweight.
She is being treated for dermatitis, but we are hopeful that this is not a serious problem.
(June 2006)
MILLY
MILLY is a 1-2 year old Staffordshire Cross who is lively and loves going for a walk.
Training may be of benefit as she does pull on her lead when being walked.
(June 2006)
SUMMER
SUMMER is a lovely, friendly, possibly whippet/lab cross and had to be removed from her home due to neglect. She has only been in our care a couple of days and although is healthy is desperately thin and needs building up. She is aged 1 to 2 years and is small/medium size.
(September 2006)
TAMMY
TAMMY is 3-4 months old and has been vaccinated.

Adopting an animal from us
If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat from us we may have a suitable animal requiring your care which is currently being boarded in a private boarding establishment. All our animals are neutered and microchipped prior to rehoming, which is included in the adoption fee: Dogs - £ 75 Cats - £45
The branch will carry out a home visit before you adopt an animal from us. We will discuss with you all the requirements of the pet you have chosen and it is also an opportunity for you to ask questions. We follow RSPCA guidelines when rehoming our animals and on occasions we may have to say no.
For more information please telephone 07817 441616, or email your name and telephone number to: vivianne4@btinternet.com.
If you wish to adopt a cat, you may also like to look at the Stapeley Grange Cattery page. Stapeley Grange is run by the national Society and also accepts cats from Inspectors from a wider geographical area. Please refer to the cattery to find out about their adoption process.
